Building Bridges while Fighting Racism and Xenophobia

What is the role of museums in both condemning and fighting against racism and xenophobia? What shifts in narratives and collective work have/need to take place during times of crisis and heightened public fear and uncertainty? How do we continue to build bridges, empathy, and solidarity when many of us are trying to take care of ourselves, our families and loved ones, and our colleagues and institutions? In this session, leaders will share their perspectives on the critical importance of museums in the fight against hate, racism, erasure, and xenophobia while continuing to build bridges, coalitions, and solidarity across difference.
